The wine cultivation in Limburg grows and prospers. Wine lovers are charmed by the creation of Haspengouwse local wines that can withstand heavy competition from abroad. The driving force behind Wijndomein Hoenshof is Ghislain Houben. The grapevines of vineyard Hoenshof are deeply rooted in the soil of Haspengouw. The living roots of winegrower Ghislain Houben are at least as deeply connected with this soil. His grandfather was born in 1904 at this exact place and the grounds were uninterruptedly since then in family ownership. In harmony with nature and the grapes he is trying year after year to make the finest wines.
